Q. How can I create a crew?
A. If you are interested in starting a new crew or joining an existing one at your school or in your community, contact your area's Regional Tobacco Prevention Specialist (RTPS) for more information.
Q. How can I become involved in a crew? How do I find out if there is a crew in my area?
A. If you don’t like rounding people up to get something going, joining a crew is simple. Find out who your Regional Tobacco Prevention Specialist (RTPS) is and give them a call or shoot them an email. They are there to help you any way they can – which includes helping you get involved in a local crew.
Q. If I smoke, can I be involved?
A. ABSOLUTELY! Raze is all-inclusive. We WANT smokers to help us lead our fight. Big Tobacco has manipulated you, so don't hesitate to get involved!
Q. Can someone over 18 join Raze? Can I stay involved with Raze after I graduate?
A. If you have already graduated, there are still many ways you can help in the fight against Big Tobacco. If you are interested in becoming involved with a new College program called AT, e-mail Electa Crowder or James Vance. To find out how you can stay involved with local tobacco prevention efforts, contact your local Regional Tobacco Prevention Coalition Coordinator (RTPCC). Keep up the fight!
Q. How can I become more involved?
A. YOU are Raze. We cannot express that enough. Do a commotion, join a crew, start a crew, take a stand. Don’t wait for Raze to come to you – you are Raze. Keep checking the website for updates and to find out what other teens are doing around the state.
Q. Do I have to be a member of Raze to join a crew?
A. Raze encourages everyone to join if they are actively involved in the fight against Big Tobacco. But, there are some people out there that may only want to be involved in one commotion and never go further. That’s cool too. No need to join if Raze isn’t something you want to be actively involved with.
