General Description of Activity:

Art that's more than pretty ... spread Raze with chalk or spray paint, posters and street art. But hey ... Get permission! We aren't criminals.

Teens with artistic ability gather to do art on wooden boards, canvas, poster board or even on a street, driveway, or building, after getting prior approval from the building owner. This is an opportunity for teens with creative and artistic ability to express themselves and fight Big Tobacco. Check out some Raze Art teens have done at the Community Section of the Raze site


Desired Outcome of Activity:

  • Create anti-tobacco art that will be seen by the community.
  • Increase awareness of Raze brand, the manipulation of Big Tobacco, and the dangers of tobacco use.
  • Attract other teens to join Raze
  • Media coverage


Estimated Number of Teen Activists Needed:
Crew Leader + various artists


Materials Needed:

  • Paint-able board or canvases
  • If doing art on building, sidewalk or walls, get signed permission from
    building/land owner - get your Adult Advisor's help on this
  • Art supplies
  • Either chalk or tempera paint for "wash-away" art
  • Spray or exterior latex paint for permanent art
  • Paper and pencils/markers/pens to sketch ideas
